HDD Drilling Desander

Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is now very popular in pipeline installing.Large amount of HDD drilling mud needs to be treated.TR Solid Control developed one specific HDD drilling mud desander for clients. The HDD desaner has sent to the drilling site recently.

HDD is a trenchless method of installing underground pipelines, with minimal impact on the surrounding area. Directional drilling is used when traditional trenching or excavating method is not practical, for example to cross a rivers or shorelines, buildings, etc. The techniques used in the HDD process are originated from the oil well drilling industry.

Installation of a pipeline by HDD is generally accomplished in following
3 stages:
HDD crossing of pipeline primarily consists of drilling a small diameter pilot hole (≈ 6 inch to 8 inch) along the drilling path and then enlarging/ reaming the pilot hole up to a diameter which can facilitate the pipe string pull-back (generally 1.5 times pipe diameter). Then the pipe string is pulled back into the enlarged hole.

TR HDD desander is one integrate drilling cuttings cleaner. The HDD desander puts the mud shale shaker with the hydrocyclone desander together.

TR HDD desander has the advantages of:compact structure, small footprint, excellent treatment effect, easy to handle.

TR Solid Control is a manufacturer of oil solid control system and equipment. It can not only provide conventional solid control equipment, such as shale shaker, desander, desilter, decanting centrifuge, etc.,but also can design and develop drilling solid control equipment according to clients drilling site requirement.
