HDD application and mud desander

Horizontal directional drilling(HDD) is a kind of construction drilling process which can lay a variety of underground public facilities (pipes, cables, etc.) under the condition of non-excavated earth surface.

HDD is widely used in pipelines such as water supply, electricity, telecommunications, natural gas, gas and oil construction. HDD applies to sand, clay, pebbles and other geological different conditions, most of non-hard rock areas can be applied. Working environment temperature is -15 ℃ ~ +45 ℃.

Horizontal directional drilling technology is a kind of new construction technology which combines the directional drilling technology of the petroleum industry and the traditional pipeline construction method.

HDD has the advantages of fast construction speed, high construction precision and low cost.Horizontal directional drilling equipment also received rapid development in recent years.HDD has become  emerging industries in developed countries.

HDD is generally applicable to pipe diameter φ300 ~ φ1200mm steel pipe, PE pipe, the maximum pipe length of up to 1,500m. From soft soil to hard rock and a variety of other soil conditions can be adopted.HDD application prospect is broad.

Every horizontal directional drilling system are composed of rig system, power system, control system, mud system, drilling tools and auxiliary equipment.
